MONO PHOTO WINS CAMERA PRIZE

A mono picture of Clifton Suspension Bridge bathed in sun rays won the Clifton Down Shopping Centre/Panasonic Store photographic competition which has been running on the Centre's website for the past few weeks.

The photographs of Clifton presented the two judges with a difficult task to choose an outright winner but they both agreed that Emma Carter's entry, pictured, was a deserved winner.

Emma, right, will receive a Panasonic Lumix DMCFS62EBA camera, together with a 2G memory card, bag and camera tuition, donated by Panasonic Store.

Lisa Grinnell, Clifton Down Shopping Centre's manager, said: "This is the first competitiopn we have run online and we were delighted with the response.

"The standard of the photographs was absolutely brilliant and it was really difficult to come to a decision. But both Martyn Richards, from Panasonic Store, and myself independently chose Emma's mono print.

"We'll be keeping the photographs on our website www.cliftondownsc.com for a while if anyone would like to see them."
