McFLY RETURN TO RISE McFly will be returning to Rise the independent music retailer in the Beechwood shopping centre, Cheltenham, on March 8 to meet fans and sign copies of their latest single That’s The Truth. Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd from the chart topping band will be appearing in store where fans will get a chance to meet their musical heroes in person from 5pm. Entry will be by wristband only. To obtain a wristband fans can pre-order the new single in-store. McFly’s Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones appeared in Rise in November to sign copies of their single Shine A Light which entered the UK singles chart at number four. The event was a huge success a Rise store manager Ben Hughes is pleased to have the band back. He said: “Last year’s signing was a great event, it was the first time we’d had a pop act come to the store and their fans were unbelievable on the day. I spoke to a few fans who were disappointed that they didn’t get to meet Dougie and Harry last time round, so this is their chance.” |
