CROWNING GLORY FOR RISE STORE
UK punk/protest band The King Blues will launch their new album Punk & Poetry with a free, live, in-store performance at independent music store Rise in Beechwood Shopping Centre, Cheltenham from 5.30pm on Monday, April 18.
Fans will be able to see and hear the band perform their new single Set The World On Fire as well as other tracks from their highly anticipated third album, released on the same day. The band will also be staying on at Rise to sign copies of the album and meet fans.
Rise manager Ben Hughes said: “This really will be one of the most exciting in-store events we’ve seen at Rise, let alone in the county. The reaction we’ve have from fans to the news the band will be playing here has been overwhelming and it should be very busy.”
The King Blues performance will follow hot on the heals of the Record Store Day on Saturday, April 16 when top of the bill at Rise will be a midday show by American folk troubadour Nathaniel Rateliff.
